November 20, 2021 Fencing Project Continues
Thank you so much to the Wet Mountain Valley Saddle Club members who took time out of their busy Saturday on 20 November to come out and participate in the second volunteer fence pull!
Huge hats off to Chris and Donna Beebe, Jeana Schroeder, John Schneider, Brian Mace and even a visit by Mary and Jerry Seifert who helped us wrap up the day.
All in all we probably pulled another 800–900 linear feet of fence boards and harvested the hardware. We are well on our way to having the supplies needed to upgrade many sections of fencing. Your volunteer efforts are greatly appreciated. Please keep your eye out for future volunteer opportunities to improve the grounds around the Wet Mountain Valley Saddle Club in anticipation of the 2022 Stampede PRCA Rodeo!

Oct 2021 Saddle Club Members Work to Relocate a Donated Fence
Thanks to a generous donation by Mary and Jerry Seifert, we will be able to upgrade significant portions of the more highly visible perimeters on Saddle Club grounds. Beginning October 18, 2021, almost 1000 linear feet of fence boards were removed, along with all necessary hardware. Many thanks to Tom Mowery, Jack Henderson, John & Darlene Schneider, Brian and Jessica Mace, and Mary Seifert for their tireless efforts. We will have additional workdays to remove more fence boards and ultimately upright posts as well. The first section of fence to be replaced will likely be on either side of the Saddle Club entrance. Please keep an eye out for a future volunteer dates to keep this project moving and ready for the 2022 Westcliffe Stampede PRCA & WPRA Rodeo.
